DLP (Digital Light Processing) televisions to display images onto a projection screen use light bulbs. These bulbs have an average lasting of near eighty thousands hours. In addition screens of DLP television are very sensitive. So the image on them can be ruined by any scratch or pressure. If you have not notice yet each DLP screen, or mirror, has an anti-glare film. Its task is to help viewers of TV see better. If you clean your TV screen to reduce damage that can be done to the film, you should not use any regular towels or window cleaning spray.
1 First of all, before cleaning, unplug your DLP television.
2 To clean the surface, take a microfiber towel. Wipe down with circular motions the television surface of. After it, gently clean the screen; be careful use no pressure.
3 Spray onto the microfiber towel DLP cleaning spray. Using the same circular motions, wipe down the screen. The DLP cleaner should always be sprayed strait onto the towel. This will help to avoid damaging of the screen.
4 Give the television to dry and then plug the power in.
